Police said a man was fatally shot and another man was injured in separate shootings in Baltimore on Sunday.
The Baltimore Police Department wrote in a news release that officers were called to the 4800 block of Bayonne Ave. in the city’s Cedmont neighborhood at 3:21 p.m. for a report of a shooting.
Upon arriving, police wrote that officers found a 22-year-old man who had been shot in the head and the chest. Medics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Police have not identified the man or a suspect in the shooting.
Hours later, officers were called to an area hospital just before 8:30 p.m. for a man seeking treatment from a shooting.
Police said they found a 26-year-old man who had been shot in the leg. The man is in stable condition, police said.
The man told police he was walking in the 100 block of N. Warwick Ave. when he heard gunshots in the Shipley Hill neighborhood and felt pain in his leg, authorities said.
