Colorado Auto Theft Prevention Authority released data for the most stolen vehicle models in the Denver Metro last year.

In 2020 the Chevrolet Silverado was the most stolen vehicle around Denver. There were 1,145 thefts of Silverados with the make years between 1999 and 2007.

The Honda Civic and Accord, along with Ford’s F-250, were all stolen more than 900 times as well.

The GMC Sierra, Ford F-150 and F-350, RAM 1500, Hyundai Sonata and Honda CR-V were among the top 10 most stolen vehicles, according to the data from Auto Theft Intelligence Coordination Center.

These were the top-10 most stolen vehicles in the Denver Metro in 2020. These stolen vehicles are often used in the commission of other (sometimes violent) crimes. How can you protect your car?
